George, John, et al. Lotta new stuff here to me like buffer 'condensor'
tuning the circuit. Or ACC on ignition switch for 2 reasons

    - mechanic's: more juice to starter

    - e-tech's: save vibrator contacts on lo-volts

Then there's the double linear model to the non-linear reality. Wowzerz!!

I've got 2 cents on the vibrator xfrmr itself. Had one dead in a '56 Merc
radio & plugged in a 115V/12VCT transformer as a sub. Since vibrator
runs at about 2 x 60cps, the xfrmr theoretically should have worked
at twice the voltage.

It did!. 200V resulted across former 'primary.' Used original 12X4 as
positive-going diodes & 2 Si jobs for neg-going in resultant bridge. Ran
for years taking alum-pals to football games '85 thru ~95.

Ya just gotta hear that vibrator doing harmony with Elvis when radio
turned low while u & ur sweety @ the Varsity (or Sonic or something)

Happy Thanksgiving whether you're USA or not!
