The short answer is there are several HP and Electronic Measurements
power supplies which will produce that kind of DC. Tucker has some of
them used, but, they are pricey, and in my experience, all run on 3 phase
input. For example, I have one of the EM supplies wjhich puts out 15 V @
150 A, and it needs 208 VAC 3 phase to light it up.
Then, there are engine powered Miller welders. You would have to modify
the circuit to get the regulation needed, but voltage and current are
there.
