Depends on your level of patience.  This is a ~1941 design integrated 
transceiver, originally intended for the airlines but used in a few WWII 
Navy aircraft types (and I expect Commonwealth planes as well.)  Puts 
out 50w from 2.5 to 13MHz.  Ahead of its time - similar to the much 
later Collins AN/ARC-2, but used two dynamotors (the Tx dyno may be a 
little hard to find.)  Local control leaves something to be desired, but 
it is certainly a part of the lore of WWII aircraft comms.  Manuals are 
fairly available.  Biggest problem is the drum type channel switching 
design that introduces lots of contacts to corrode.

I think Hue nailed it as the ARR-1/ARR-2 test oscillator.
