I recently acquired four mil-surplus pieces that I could use some
help i.d'ing, &c.
	1. OSA indicator - while it's pretty obvious what this 6.5x4.5x9
Navy box is for, the question is, is it worth re-installing the
butchered-out octal socket for the 913 CRT? (geez - whoever you were that
butchered this out, it was JUST an octal - WHY?!) I suspect the 1" CRT is
really too small to be worth "booting up" - any opinions?
	2. Bendix-made RTA-1B MF/HF rx/tx. This 3105-6500 kc 10-channel
8x16x20 hulk has a 7x14 turret that can be hand-cranked from a 5x5x6
"Frequency Shift Unit MS-39B" power-drive box mounted on the front.
"Suitable for 24v", it has 8 metal octals present in the rx section, and a
6V6, 6L6, and four 807's missing from the tx. Also missing is T-103, and
everything on the back shelf, as well as the antenna tuning rollers for
channels 2,3,4; the meter, handles, and a couple of empty mystery holes.
What's the story on this unit? Worth messing with?
	3. 3x11x14 mystery chassis: stripped down to small components and
a couple of tuning caps mounted vertically (one with a dial marked from 100
to 156mc), the only other clue is the tube complement: V-101, 102, 109 were
6V6; V-103, 104, 832A; V-105, 12SH7; V-106, 6J5; V-107, 108, 6L6. This
doesn't match the BC-625 (SCR-522), so what was it? Anybody need any parts
off it?!
	4. "portabale (sic) test oscillator", order no. 9245-WF-43, this
10x7x7 black-crinkle aluminum box has two Dzus-fastened covers: one over
the battery compartment, for a 6.3v and two 45 volts; the opposite side,
over two acorn tubes and a 2x8.5" tuned cavity. The 955's specified on the
schematic glued inside the door have been subbed with direct-cathode
1.25-volt 958's: I'll have to see if they've survived! Obviously VHF, it's
in very nice condx except for the scratched-off part of the label! What f
is it, and what was it used for? There appears to be provision for
modulation, but it sure is clunky: you'd have to solder a mike or such to a
terminal strip behind one of the doors!
	5. Adapter, Test, MX-1335/GRC: a 6x8x5.5 heavy steel box with
removeable lid, it has cables, switches and such inside. "p/o MK-153" is
penciled on the lid. The intended purpose is evident, but what eq. is it
u/w?

TIA for any and all help.	e
