As an FYI on the TA-2J.  One of the aircraft it was used in was the Army C-
60, Navy R50-5 and the British Lodestar II aircraft along with the RA-1B 
receiver, SCR-274N, SCR-269A, RC-43 Marker Beacon receiver, SCR-287 Liason 
Set and the SCR-535 Identification Radio and a "frequency meter".  DOesn't 
say whether it was an LM or BC-XXX type but i suppose you'd know that whether 
or not your in a Navy or Army aluminum tube.

I don't have any other details in the limited edition of the Pilots Flight 
Operating Instructions that i have here.
