[Milsurplus] What is a Navy MO or MAK?

Rob,

No idea what they look like or what components they have as neither are 
listed in either SHIPS 275 or the later NAVSHIPS 900,116.  But SHIPS 242A says MAK 
(2.0-3.0 MC) is identical to MO, MO-1 and -MO-2 (3.0-8.0 MC) except for 
frequency range.  Both are listed as 4-channel crystal controlled, AM/MCW only, 25 W 
(15 W for MO-1 and MO-2) and USMC (except MO-2 BueAer).  1941/2/3 time frame.
