The DZ-2 tunes 15kHz to 1,750kHz in six bands, Ken.  I think the DZ-1 is 
the same.  There's an uncovered gap between 70kHz and 100kHz for some 
reason.  Has very sharp selectivity below 200kHz, useful only for CW - 
due in large measure to its 88kHz IF string and a narrow bandwidth of 
about 1.3kHz.  Over 200kHz the selectivity is about 2.7kHz, according to 
this manual.
