[Milsurplus] weird antennas what are they for?.

Alan and the group:
we got 2 antennas yesterday that are odd... one is 2 section with a spring
at the end and some flex stuff like a goose neck lamp has and a wire
running through it to hold the two pieces together. the wire is inside the
tubing and disappears when you slide the two pieces together.
the other antenna has many many sections and has this wire scheme also.
both are painted OD.
I can get the numbers off them tomorrow when I am down at the museum, but
Alan's antenna note brought these to mind...
