Def.: mili-e-debris military electronic cast-offs.
Except for antennas below, I've never seen any of these items priced
before. Usual MO is to represent the stuff as "for trade only."
So my numbers are wild stabs.
Stuff will be in/around '98 Caravan parked in space 2309.
Anyway, here goes something.
- BD-77C 12V dyno for BC-191. Run that SCR-187 next time you
fly a Martin B-10 to Alaska.
weathered but turns. $70
- RA-34H 110 (or 90, or 240, or...) AC power supply for BC-191.
Still has 1 (of 2) good FG17 thyratrons. P/o SCR-188 and
is probably the main-line ground-to-air link for all those
B-17s in early "ETO" and whole Pacific effort.
weathered but complete $250 wud u believe 127 pounds?
- R-105A/ARR-15 The late WW2 ART-13 auto-tune receive companion. This
one painted gray & has 115vac internal supply. Has name plate, tests
fine. Did someone say the "A model" was the rarie?
$135
- R-1004/GRC-109. Complete except for, you guessed it, 1L6 tube.
Variable-cap steatite plate broken, but restorable. Looks pretty
fair.
$47 & not restricted to green beret purchasers
- MT-283 for ART-13. Visible chisle marks where taken fm a plane.
TIG work req'd to give it that "removed from time-capsule look."
A ratso rarie.
$15
- CPRC-10 antenna whips. IE, the Canadian 6-meter PRC-10. Adapt
to PRC-10 or BC-1000. Condition varies. Nice HMMV curb feelers.
Trade 'em in @ Orvis as electronic fly rods.
$10/ea. 2 for $7.

PS Me'n my BC-611B lookin' forward to this:
WW II HF net that was held last year(2002) at the
Dayton Hamvention on Saturday at noon. This net featured HF
radios from World War II through the early 1960s.
This was an AM net (with carrier) held on the frequency of
3885 Kcs. The net control was Jim KA8TUR.
Is it on for 2003?
