I have a filter unit, F-147/U which has a number of capacitors, "cored" =
choke, "RF" type chokes and other parts which is designed for a hash =
filter.
The box indicates it is for use on:
AN/GRC-9
SCR-694C
AN/TRC-2
PE-162-C
GN-50-B
I would like to use it on my AN/GRC-9 to cut down on the hash level. I =
have played with homebrew filters but wanted to give this a try.
It has a female GRC-9 connector, a four pin male connector and a three =
terminal strip inside.
Any help on interfacing to my GRC-9 or manual reference would be =
appreciated.
Running CW mobile in my M-38 Jeep is a lot of fun but would be better =
with less hash in the headphones.
Thanks,
Norm
