[Milsurplus] Rectifier Power Unit, redux: RA-133-B

Robert's post reminded me of something I've been meaning to ask.  I have 
an RA-133-B RPU, Bright Radio Labs, 13523-Phila-51, which someone had 
crammed into the battery box of my otherwise-decent TS-323/UR freq meter 
as a (somewhat) suitable AC supply.

Can anyone tell me if this was the 'usual' or 'customary' battery 
eliminator for this freq meter; and if not, what was, and for what was 
this one normally used?
