I have received many quires concerning 6 meter conversion of handheld CB
antennas so I  have published my 6 meter conversion  of  MAXON OTS 27 MCs
handheld  antennas otherwise know as �CB rubber ducks�.

(All though I still do not understand the
relationship between a  a small helical wound antenna and a rubber duck.)

These compact ,inexpensive and very  rugged antennas with BNC base connectors
have been converted to six meters for use on military  squad radios such as
theFSE 38/58 and make an excellent hamfest or military meet antenna. The article
is under �military radio� titled "27 Mc Helical Antenna Conversion".
Since I only subscribe to one military list any relay of this info  to some of
the other lists would be appreciated.
