[Milsurplus] Palley's

Anyone remember this surplus outfit from LA, back in the 1970s? I found 
one of their old catalogs, and I must say that I am impressed with the 
surplus electronics they had - mostly test sets and aerospace junk. Of 
note (to me, anyway) is that they were selling complete Navy ASA radar 
sets - a fairly unsucessful aircraft radar, and RCA's answer to the 
famous ASB. Some said the set never saw production - well, I guess it 
did, and I now have pictures to prove it.

What ever happened to Palley's? Was is a small operation?

Also found a 1970 Fair Radio catalog - amazing how some things never change.
