Group,

Saturday I attended Brent Mullins' MV open house. Sold some radios. Bought
some radios. Watched a mock battle that included (besides the soldiers) two
tanks, an M8 Greyhound, a 105 Howitzer, etc. Lots of smoke.

I also took in as a swap on some cables a couple of what I think may be
interphone boxes for use with the No. 19 Set. Somewhere over the years they
had gold decals with red/black borders stuck over the painted black on white
legend areas. Sometime later, someone else started scratching them off. I
scratched off a bit more on one of them (accidentally left the other one over
at the storage building when I got home from Brent's place Saturday night).
The upper area says WIRELESS SETS No 19, something scratched off ending in
CTn followed by DISTn No 3 and below that Z.A. 10244 P.C. No 75523. Lower
area says CALL COMMANDER in two lines. There is a steel mounting plate to
which the open bottom box is attached. Finish is flat grey. I don't see any
obvious unauthorized holes.

There are parts missing inside, although not all of them. There are clipped
wires dangling and two empty holes in the top. Mic hanger and two rubber
cable boots are present, plus four hole plugs that look original.

I'm almost totally illiterate when it comes to 19 Sets. What is it and does
anyone need it?
