Sure thing, Gary. Believe it or not, the Triplett folks are very nice
and helpful about such things, in stark contrast to brand S-----n. A
query to their site will likely bring an emailed copy of the manual, as
I got for my 1200-A. (Your E model is the 'good' one, at 25kohms/volt
DV.) (Don't you love the trapdoor meters?)

(left side) "Product Links">"Product Support"
Read: "Repair Policy", then 'FAQs'. Then click the email link for
"Instruction Manual Request".
Be sure to specify the exact model, and the serial number from the
little plate which is hopefully still on the case bottom. I would
expect an answer to be forthcoming from either Nikisha Fackler or Mike
Hahn. (Mike is the Chief Electronics Engineer, an antique-radio guy,
and a very nice fellow.)

I'll go along with that.

Good luck and best regards,
Fred
