Nothing to do with the 19 Set, but speaking of high-powered sets in small spaces, Change 2 to TM 11-2715 (Installation of Radio Sets in Truck, 1/4 Ton, 4X4) covers installation of the SCR-499 in the MB and GPW.  :-)
