This was just received from Louis Meulstee, author of the series of books
"Wireless for the Warrior"

This set is apparently a Canadian No. 27 Set, a development from the British
early WW2 No. 27 Set. It is not known whether this set went into production as
no further details were found. This may be a set from the pre-production run,
hence the sets which are found are generally in good condition and never used in
active service A description is in Volume 1, I never came across the circuit
diagram or manual.

Volume 4 is advancing steadily, now about 75% ready in proofs.
