Just to put that into perspective...  I have a choice of eBay or
a hamfest, just like anyone else.

But one can imagine what eBay is worth to me, when you consider
that the nearest hamfest is a once a year event that happens 510
miles away (which is a $450 round trip airplane ticket plus a
hotel room for a night).

*That* is the significance of eBay!
