[Milsurplus] Direction finder loop

Something just followed me home.
It is a set  4 DF loops, A-B-C-D and a hand rotating device that apparantly
mounts thru the roof of a truck box or maybe a ships cabin.. The loops plug
into the base unit with a 6 pin plug, looks like a tube base and socket.
Base has a 0-359 degree calibration scale. Only identification is a tag with
a set of wings for an emblum and the name "FINCH" along with a serial
number. Output connector is a BNC.
Well, historians, what do you make of it.

Also a reletively clean BC603, unmodified , without dynamotor got here too.
