Hi Ken,

From the Mil List:

RBZRadio receiving equipment, 2-5.8 MHz, AM, 455 Kc IF, tunable personal set,
receiver and battery box in canvas case on operator's chest, uses helmet as
antenna (AC supply also made), Major components:
46203 Radio receiver,
19140 Battery holder,
49214 Headset assembly,
2 ea <A HREF="http://www.nj7p.org/cgi-bin/millist?name=BA-30">BA-30</A> 1.5 Volt batteries,
<A HREF="http://www.nj7p.org/cgi-bin/millist?name=BA-51">BA-51</A> 67.5 volt battery}.

I remember seeing them advertised in the radio mags in the late 40s & 50s.
Never thought they would amount to much for amateur radio so never bought one
although the price was very low.

73,

Norm Hall, W6JOD
