[Milsurplus] Identify tube?

If the tube is left essentially dark, the output consists of discrete output
pulses governed by Poisson statistics, which is essentially random.  Basically,
you power the tube in the dark and the current out of the cathode (or the
voltage across the cathode resistor)  is random noise.
