SCR-AA-183 was indeed built for a 1934 order. SCR-183 (the non-ARC 
version) was built for a 1933 order. The radios are not related, 
other than basic form and function.

One thing to note is that the earlier SCR-*-183s used different BC- 
numbers. The earliest were BC-*-179 and BC-*-180, later came BC-*-199 and 
BC-*-200, and finally BC-*-229 and BC-*-230. The SCR-183 used different 
BC- numbers yet (the only one I am sure of is BC-200-T6 - T6 is "tenative 
number 6", nothing to do with training).
