Consolidated (Consolidated -Vultee owned by Ruben H Fleet ) was in San
Diego...became ConVair..

Coronado flying boat (Consolidated was assigned the Navy manyfacturer's code
"Y" and its flying boats were named for islands off the California coast
(e.g. Catalina). The Martin Mars was PB2M ("M" for Martin), and its flying
boat service names began with the letter M (Mariner, Mars, etc.).
