Have an ARA RX. Top blue metal plate says Aircraft Radio Corp.
CBY-46014 1.3-3.0 mcs. SN 5371, Contract NOs-74912. No nips,
doesn't appear blue tag ever date-stamped.

Legends on rear apron are yellow ink-stamped & say Aircraft Radio Corp / ARC
#5005 / Released 1-43 / USN anchor. All still pretty clear

That's only date data. Might there be more on RH side? There's a
beautiful band-switched ham xtal-ctl converter bolted over same. Cud peek
if there's a reason.

Know principal use of .52-1.5 rx was sub-carrier tuning of YG-ZB system.
But the 1.5-3 jobby, that for 2-ways w. then-2nd-tier naval acft? TX
being the 1.3-2 T-17 that just went across Ebay?

Or the 2.1-3 mc ATA tx here facing me (no top or bottom covers). That
thing's rear yellow stamps say ARC #9308 10-43. Yet, catch this, also
says released 2-43 w. USN anchor meaning, I 'spose, contract let 2-43
and factory completion date 10-43.

End of 6-sigma SWAGs.
