Ed,

Doug will be able to get on the East-Coast Old Military Radio Net (OMRN) on
3885 KHz AM, Saturday mornings starting at 5:30 AM (EST) .
The OMRN CW net is on Sunday evenings, 9 PM (EST), on 3570 KHz.
Then there is the Wireless Set 19 Group CW net, Tuesday evenings at 8 PM
(EST) on 3703/3705 KHz (depending on QRM), sometimes QSY'ing to 7020
depending on conditions.
There is also an AM net (Old Friends' Net) Sunday evenings here in the
Upstate if South Carolina (Mt. Pleasant, NC is not too far), at 4 PM (EST)
on 3810 KHz.
The Old Friends - almost all BA collectors and users - meet for eyeball
QSO's at a monthly luncheon (first Friday of the month) here in the Upstate
area and he's welcome to join us.

Folks,
A good friend, Doug Dilley WA6VOV(formerly W7??? from Spokane), has just
moved from San Diego to Mt. Pleasant NC. Doug has several MIL related BA
and antenna patents after 30 or so years in a Navy R&D lab and hauled his
homebrew and BA radios back to NC. He and Susan are just getting set up and
are not online yet or connected with the local Ham/Mil Radio/BA community.
If anyone is in the area, is CW prefered, likes AM a bit, and plays tube
homebrew etc. please pass me contact info to pass to Doug. He is an ARC-5
guy, HF/vhf, packed a Johnson desk, and a grunch of sweeptube homebrew/Drake
RX/Hammarlund/Ranger/etc. Thanks!

Well....Us West Coast folk got Dennis W7QHO so Doug is back East. As they
said in "Dances with Wolves" ......" Good trade"
