-was GRC9 refurbs that emerged @ Fair

which ain't surprising since Fair just 100 mi. up the road fm Crosley
    town

Have a 1941 table radio with paper sticker on botttom that says made by
Crosley div'n of

   ta dum

     Aviation Corporation

Big Crosley art'l just published in AWA Journal. But all technical
& centered about Crosley wire- and motor-head achievements. Most
of you know his little amazing ohc car motor, & the shelvadors, &
the SuperVs, & the SCR-284, & the gasoline prop-twisters, & WLW 500kw, &
THE CINCINNATI REDS @ CROSLEY FIELD.

But d'ya think AvCo was an earlier-day financial nifty? Like TyCo, etc.

Have a Cincy pal that grew up going with his dad to Powell Crosley's
"north woods camp." That dad & PC were tall, very tall. 6:4+
Pal was too young then & didn't remember nature of "man talk" while
PC & dad were "yukin it up." Pal's dad left lotsa PC fotos & notes
but pal's sister tossed "all that old $h!t" years back. Has that
ever happened before?

Bill Strangfeld might know. And so too might PC's surviving daughter,
but why woud she say?
