I had one of these once. Got it and the separate speech amp brand new from=
Uncle Sam while I was in AFMARS. When I left home, I gave it back to
MARS by taking it to our state AFMARS director. Sure wish I had it now! It=
was a really beautifully built rig which operated perfectly. No drift to s=
peak of
from the VFO. I also added a "shift-pot" FSK mod and used it on RTTY. The
antenna coupler in the top section would match nearly anything I ever
wanted it to. I remember seeing a photo of an AirForce or Army
communications station which had several of these spotted neatly around
the operating room with their antenna leads going up through the ceiling.
