The AVT-15A has its own internal vibrator supply, which was also
intended to supply the AVR-20A. The AVA-126 was used with transmitters
that did not have an internal supply, like the AVT-112A.

The AVT-15A and AVR-20A made a nice two-box installation. The AVR-20A
is a pretty clever design, but the AVT-15A is a 6L6 modulating
(horrors!) a 6L6 (a modulated oscillator). Since a 6L6 was used, it
obviously couldn't even be configured as a electron coupled MO-PA in one
tube, like the 837 was in the one-tube transmitters of the early TBX
sets.
