I'm not totally getting out of mil radio collection, but I am
going to drastically thin the herd a bit...
I have a GRC-193 that I have used very little since I got it. Cosmetically
it could use a paint job, and someone previous to me removed the
nomenclature tags, but otherwise it is to specs and works very well.
Seems to me Murphy was selling the RT only for $1200 last time I
was on his web page. The RT, of all the bits, *does* still have its
nomenclature tag. All manuals - in pdf - are included if I can find
where I put the %$^& CD. Yes, Depot manuals too.
I also have a good working GRC-106 for sale. I will need to get
it out of storage and take some pics if anyone is interested.
Would Fair Radio pricing be out of line as a starting price
for it? ( It has all its meters and knobs and has the one-wire
mod for making the clarifier active in TX so you aren't stuck
with 1Khz steps... ) Have a GRC-19 with mount too, same with it,
I need to get it out of storage and take pics. Will offer it to the
two groups as well.
If anyone on the the ARMYRADIOS or MILSURPLUS lists are interested,
make a decent offer otherwise I'm going to send it to-you-know where
and auction it.
I would prefer to sell within driving distance of Nashville, TN
( ~500 mi, and could meet half way for delivery ) though the '193
is UPSable in several boxes. The GRC-106's amp is supposedly
fairly fragile as far as shipping goes, but could ship it too.
While in-person delivery is preferred, I can ship these items,
though if shipped, I would have the items professionally packed.
While $$ is preferred for any and all, I might consider trades
for commercial ham gear.
*PLEASE* contact me off-list if you are interested.
Thanks
