[Milsurplus] Interesting TBX-4A at the e-place

An interesting item (no, it's not mine or of anyone I know) is on the
e-place at

The markings on the case indicate that it came from the USS Barrow
(APA-61) WW2 attack transport ship, which was commissioned in late 1944
and used as a target in atom bomb tests at Bikini Atoll in 1946.  Thus
the use of this particular unit seems bracketed from about late 1944 to
1946.

My TBX-4A is in storage, but it looks to me that this unit may have some
post-WW2 modifications made by the Navy, judging from the front panel
(like the Amphenol connector for the receiver).  I wonder where this
unit has been hiding since leaving the Barrow.
