Mike roger the BC-966 data.  I'd sure like to see one's guts in person,
but if access is so tough I 'spose unlikely.

Web site I ref'd has one disembowled & I was hoping to see if there was
support for their inference that LO and TX oscillator the same.  Perhaps
interrogator was IF freq. away fm expected response.  That's sorta
way MkV & present transponders do with 1060mhz / 1090.

Anyway I've a discovery fm 6/47 Radio Craft.  An ad fm "Communications
Electronics" on the BC-1267.  Itsa 110V unit that's p/o RC-148.
Chesson compilation says RC-148 is IFF for SCR-268, SCR-270, SCR-584.

That's now solved in the oddest way.  Oh for Mr. Peabody's 'way back 
machine.'  But then the internet'd be gone.
