I've got a couple of SCR-695-A BC-966-A WWII "receivers" (as listed on
the name plate...wink wink).  Actually, the BC-966 an IFF
receiver-transmitter.  The internal dynamotor/keying motor is rated at
18 vdc input, for a 24 vdc installation.

Mine are made by Philco (1942 contract numbers) but the BC-966 appears
to be based on typical WWII British construction, with British-type
power and RF connectors, and joined upper and lower chassis assemblies
that make the whole unit very awkward to handle when both the top and
bottom covers are removed.  There's no quick and easy way to change out
a vacuum tube.

There's the hole and bracket in the front for the self destruct charge.
