[Milsurplus] German EP2a

I really don't need to start collecting German sets, as much as I like
them. Just like old Gen Rad equipment...

Anyway, one of the goodies obtained recently is a German EP2a MF and HF
direction finder receiver. It is one of the "rainbow" radios, with six or
so bands covering up to 3.5 MHz. I think it is a 1941 build.

Not mine, this picture from the Howard collection:

Anyway, this thing needs a bath (tomorrow's project), and one of the
tubes is bad (the plate cap pulled away). There is some bad paint, but
really not horrible - the bad stuff is on the bottom of the case, mostly.

I really should give this up. It might be a good time to try and get a
trade going. Anyone interested? My core collection is 1920s and 30s
military radio, so I suppose something along those lines is good.

Interest?

Also, does anyone have any decent info about the EP2a?
