I had a PPN-1 a few years back, in unissued condition,
but no manual. Interesting looking gear, but for my
purposes, it does not pay its rent, in that there's no
way i can actually USE it, put it through its paces. So 
i traded it off, getting some panzer gear in exchange. I
understand the value of the PPN's has gone up since then
(hi). Before disposing of it, i set it up in a foresty setting
and shot some photos. Last time i looked at the photos,
it seemed the color had already started to darken. Also,
i hand traced out the schematic and drew it, but it still
resides, uncleaned up, on several sheets of paper.
I recall i was also offered a PPN-2, with an original
page from the war surplus seller company explaining how
to use it on the 220 MHz ham band, mcw mode.
