Dear sir,
I don't know if you remember me or not but I purchased a PP-8444/U battery
charger from you a few months ago. At the time I lived in West Virginia,
however i have relocated since then.
Today I was looking at your web site and noticed that you have a AN GVS-5
Laser Rangefinder for sale. Right now I have a AN/PVS-6 MELIOS that I am
trying to sell. It is 100% operational with a BB-516A/U battery and the
PP-8444/U charger that I purchased from you, I have the manuals for both the
rangefinder and the charger which are in 100% condition. The MELIOS itself
is in 98% condition with only a couple of minor surface scratches.
If you are not familiar with the AN/PVS-6, it is capable of determining
ranges from 50 to 9995 meters, it also has the C/VAM attachment which stands
for compass/verticle angle measurement. This allows the operator to measure
azimuth and verticle angles. This is the current design and replaced the AN
GVS-5 that you have for sale. for more info you can check out the following
web site:
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ground/an-pvs-6.htm
I am trying to fund another project right now. so like I said I am looking
to sell it. Would you be interested in purchasing it? Someone else has
made me an offer for $2,500.00 for the complete set up, if you could match
this offer I would rather sell it to you since we have done business in the
past and it has went off without a hitch. Let me know if you are
interested.
Robert McLeod
