[Milsurplus] ID'ing some old crystal & cases

picked these up today; any help on ID & use?
1)green case, two trays; can't read fully the markings on the box -
"XX591/U Box"
"Containing XXX CR-9/U"
"Crystals  XX For"
"Model MA(?) Equipment"

missing a handful of  crystals; appear to be in the 19.XXX mhz - 32.XXX
range; paperwork inside says "for Model MAY equipment"

2)Gray box; marked -
"Bliley Electric Co."
"Erie, PA"
"Gov't Contract Nobsr-42131"

single level tray; paperwork says
"CR-24/U Crystal Unit Postion Chart"
missing 24 crystals; ranging from 20.833 mhz - 34.0333 mhz
