I've got an ARC Type 12 transceiver like the forward air controllers
used during Korea and as its a nice neat little self contained package
its about time i put it to use n the local 2 meter AM channel.
Transmitter is a T-21 unit and none of my ARC-12 literature talks about
that model. As i want to order an Xtal for the local 2 meter Am channel
i need to know if its Fx=Fo/12 or Fx=Fo/18. Those are the 2 formulas
that work for the T-13/T-13A and T-11/T-11A. While this unit uses 5763
tubes it should be an X12 multiplier but as xtals run about $14.50 per,
i'd like to have the correct one arrive.
Should be 12.0375 Mc if my sharpened pencil did the math correct.
Course if anyone has one of them laying around in an HC-6 holder let me
know.

Thanks

Noticed a "Note" in one of the manuals concerning the 6AQ5 tubes in the
T-11A and T-13 transmitters.

:Some 6AQ5 tubes are mfg with material which makes them unsuitable for
use in R-F circuits. Use only clear-glass 6AQ5 tubes mfg by Tung-Sol
Electric, Inc. or their equivalent, in the T-11A Transmitters, with the
exception that the modulator tube nearest the right front of the chassis
need not be specially chosen.:

Hope this doesn't cause a run on clear glass 6AQ5 tubes by
Tung-Sol!!!!!!

Would like to find a pretty nice C-37 or C-XX control head for my extra
radios.
