[Milsurplus] What are these? TCS?

Ken,

TCS-?? transmitter and receiver, both missing the nameplates (the tapped 
screw holes are visible so these are not early TCS or TCS-4 units, some of 
which were apparently delivered without nameplates or mounting holes).  The 
gray finish dates from the early 50's when a lot of WW-II black Navy sets 
were repainted gray for some unknown reason.  Receiver is also missing the 
channel chart and mounting frame which covers the slots in the front panel.  
As far as the front panels are concerned, both appear complete and stock, at 
least mechanically.  Paint on transmitter panel is peeling badly and channel 
chart frame is rusted.
