[Milsurplus] Army Signal Corps wavemeter

Wondering if anyone out there has info on a BC-DA-153 wavemeter, made by
Joseph Kriz Co, Washington DC, contract # 7719-NY-33. It is a
buzzer-driven wavemeter, three bands from 75KC to 1500 KC. Unfortunately
this one has been modified, buzzer removed and a diode detector put in.
Would like to restore it to something like its original form. Diagram on
cover is of little help in identifying the buzzer or battery voltage
used. Any ideas?
