I am loathe to sell this but financial considerations force me to. I have:
Yaesu FT-70G transciever
FNB70 Battery box with new Nicad Pack installed
FC-70M Tuner
NC-70 Power supply/charger/speaker
MH-17 speaker mic
YH-70 handset mic(like telephone)
Yaesu knapsack
I have the manual for the NC-70 and FC-70 but not the radio. Also
have the original warranty cards for the radio and tuner. I am the
second owner. The radio was orignally purchased by a company in TX
to complete a feasibility study on contract to the Air Force.
Physical condition of the radio and tuner is excellent. The power
supply has a small dent on the front. Pack and mics are in very good
sshape. I have used the radio a good bit and all seems to work well
with the following exception: one time when operating on 17M I had
audio from the radio that sounded like picket fencing. I think the
synthesizer may have been unlocking. Don't know if I was near a
tuning limit for a synthesizer or if the voltage to the rig may have
dropped. This has only happened the one time and I haven't been able
to recreate the problem. Just wanted to bring it up in the interest
of full disclosure.
I can e-mail pictures on request. $950 plus $50 insured shipping in
CONUS only. This is a hard to find classic manpack radio and would
make a great addition to a collection. Ken, N0VZ
