[Milsurplus] Need info on BC-224A

Hello
I am working on a BC-224A receiver and am having trouble finding  a
couple components. Can  anyone tell me where the grid resistor and
capacitor are hidden for the 76 osc. The part numbers are R8 and C18-1.
The partial manual I have does not show their location . Continuity and
visual inspection haven't turned them up. Before I start dismantling it
thought maybe someone could point me in the right direction. Also if
anyone has an extra BD-94-A  I'll take it. Hi
