Hi Gang:
Well the old war birds that fly really only have half the equipment on =
them, You figure that IF you fixed the aircraft up with ALL the parts =
that went to WAR people would take parts of to there homes.
I have spent 26+ years with the Air Force Reserves flying C-97G, C-141A =
C-5A and C-141B, every time we go to a air show we would come home with =
less of the parts we started out with, you can not think of all the =
stuff they carry off, some of it was secured with wire, nuts.
So if you have a old flying machine you want to fly it not take it =
around to other places to be striped.=20
You want to see what they really had go to Dayton to the Air Force =
Museum or Dover AFB museum where they keep them nice to look at.
