	Nice discussion on the nomeclature - but has anyone actually USED
this radio?!  Besides Dave Stinson, who no longer has one?!  (Thanks for
the heads-up, Dave: I found the repair steps in a posting of yours from
y2k!)  Someone mentioned they'd bought one recently, tho not for how much.
I'm not too concerned about that, since I wasn't trying to sell mine
anyway; I was just curious how good my $50 deal really was ... considering
the damaged connector, maybe just good ...
	Robert: Just what sets does the MRC-55 manual contain, what info
does it have, and how much moola?  I'm running out of trade goods here ...
I may have the plug, tho I'm not quite sure what it should look like ...
	BTW, I'm working up an article for the "new" ER on the RT-70 - is
there any info besides what I've posted, and Dennis Starks' dissertation
available?  Websites?  Personal experiences?  Anybody even so much as SEEN
the MT-652 antenna mount?!
	On the WBFM question: I've never bothered to tweak any of my radios
down; in fact, the RT-70 is not adjustable.  I've never been arrested; am I
"living on borrowed time?!"  I betcha the R-48/T-30 pair (TRC-8) hold the
record for being broadband - any takers?!	e
