Hi All,
Sorry about the Short Notice, it's all the advance notice I got
as well.
A Kind Old Gent in Tigard Oregon went SK about a year ago. It took his
kids
that long, I guess to figure out what all he had on the Property.
Among well hidden/camoflaged locations are TWO 1943 Willy's
Jeeps,
one has the 'Ambulance' type body on it, the Other a 'Pickup' type body
with
low sides and the Hoops to support a canvas top, but no canvas on them.
(There is also a 1957 Belair there- sans Hood and Motor).... If
you
have time and money to travel in to bid on them for the family, The
Auction
(Sealed Bid) goes from 1030 Hours Local (Pacific) to 1830 Hours Local on
the 11000 Block of SW N. Dakota St, Tigard, OR. Son's name is George.
Someone apparently Broke into his Big (Barn Size) Shack, and stole almost
all of the Radios, Switch Boxes, etc., VERY SAD SAD WORLD....
They have title for each vehicle, including several flavors of
1950-1975
Chevrolets, etc. Some Odds and Ends Nomenclature Plates, Connectors and
so On. The Bel-Aire is OLD Army (OD) Green. Did the Army use these for
Staff/MP cars?? I was too young to care back then....
