Hi Glenn
I have the same coils made by Boonton Radio Corp.
They are the calibration standards for a Q meter.

Subject: [Milsurplus] Coils

I have some coils that I think are military. The cases are three inches
tall and three inches in diameter and made of aluminum. The label on one
reads:

COIL, RADIO FREQUENCY
     TYPE L105
TUNING RANGE 1.4-4.5 MC
L=25UH
C=6UUF
Q=200 APPROX

CRESCENT COMMUNICATIONS CORP.
    NEW LONDON, CT

I think that the ones I have are for different ranges. These plugin with
two bananna plugs in the bottom.

Any help identifying these and what their parent equipment was is greatly
appreciated.
