Tim,

8000 ohm headset with bail-out cord.  Probably other applications, but H-16/U 
replaced HS-30 with AN/GRC-9, AN/VRC-34 and AN/GRC-87, and replaced CW-49507B 
with AN/GRR-5.  $35.00 give or take, in NOSB condition.  Requires one CD-307 
or equivalent (CX-4548/U, CW-49534) extension cable.  Typical hamfest price 
probably 1/3 that (hamfest prices of military radios seem to be frozen in the 
Kennedy/Johnson/Fonda era).
