 How about doing the artwork on a pc and printing it on a transparency as is used for overhead projectors?Attach it to a thicker piece of clear acrylic.Just a thought.

I have tried VERY hard to find people who will make short runs of
decals,
essentially without luck. If you can find someone to make a really
authentic WW
II like decal, the minimums are something like $300 to $500. It's a
multilayer
silk-screen problem.  I have some WS 19 Control Boxes that could use new
ones.

Thanks for the suggestion. It seems the was to do this though  is with a
numerically controlled engraver, like used for making ham nameplates.
