[Milsurplus] PRC-47 tune-up

This may be a long shot but is there any way to tune up a PRC-47 on both
Tx and Rx without the extension cables called out for servicing? I have a
copy of the manual, maintenance and overhaul, TM-03817A-35/2, Feb/ 1963
with changes 1 and 2. It seems to be poorly written and edited.  I have
three units, one appears to be clean and recent, the other two have seen
better days.  As another long shot are the cables perhaps available
somewhere?  I wish to use the unit on N&MC MARS. Tnx,
