Chris ..
I am involved with the restoration of the radio room on the LST
Memorial
ship located at Mobile AL (http://www.lstmemorial.org) .

The AN/TRR-5 was a USMC developed equipment.

An R-366/TRR-5 receiver was donated to the ship, without a manual.
Although this was a post war equipment development (it is not related
to the RBL) we do display it in the ship's radio room museum. We
also are looking for a manual.

In 1951 onward I worked with the USMC HF equipment Project Engineer
in the Bureau of Ships, Washington D.C. and I am attempting to locate
him. He lives in Alexandria Virginia but 'winters' in Florida. I do
have his Virginia address but do not have the Florida address/phone.

Hopefully, when I contact him he may provide info and possible source
of a manual. If one is located I will inform you

If you should locate one we would be interested in a copy.
