Ralph has been nice enough to let me post this.

I would like to find out anything at all about the following Hams. Most of
you seem like your Old timers so you could have known them. This all
happened in the mid 60's

1. Howard Puriton K5TPU. I last saw him in his home in 1964 in Clovis,
N.Mexico when he did a little rework on a Globe Scout 680 for me.

2. Chuck Cuthrall and Jerry Edgely. Both were from my old home town of
Flint, Michigan. Or at least that is where I grew up. One was from Mt.
Morris actually and the other was fm Flint. I was stationed with both of
them in Ankara, Turkey with Tuslog Det 6. We worked at Esenboa Airport. in a
HF, SSB site. I heard after I left Turkey that Chuck died of a heart attack.

Jerry I heard went to the Far east as a Tech Rep. Jerry had a Japanese wife
and her name was Caco? Kay Koe? Don't know how it was spelled. Jerry bought
one of the old 6 Mtr Heath rigs I had built while in Turkey. It' wasn't the
lunch box it was the nice low power base unit.

3. My last friend was at Eglin Fld # 3 in Fla. My memory is bad but his last
name could have been Collins or he could have worked for Collins. He was of
slender build blondish hair and wore glasses. He was there modifying
TRC-97's? nearest I can remember. We were a Tac Mobil Comm outfit. I don't
remember what he had for Xmtr but he Had a Hammaurlund HQ-110 or something
close to it. When I shipped out to Canada I left a 6Mtr Beam laying in his
front yard that I had started building. Him and his wife loved cats and they
gave me a beautiful one before we left. But while in Canada my Ex let it run
outside and that was last we ever saw of it. She cared less.
